She could never get more than one bar(poor) reception and her connection often dropped totally. I had purchased a USB adapter that was supposed to have a "power boost" that increased the signal strength, but if it helped at all it wasn't enough to notice. I received this new adapter just a few days after ordering. It included a mini-CD and instructions on how to set up and access the driver for the adapter. The print on the instructions was very small and it didn't explain that you need to look at the numbers on the CD sleeve to know which driver to choose when the menu came up. These are the only complaints that I have! The driver loaded swiftly, I attached the antenna to the adapter(it simply screws on), plugged it into my USB port, and was online in no time.
